Step 2 of 3From the ace to the ten
From the ace to the ten
The number cards of swords show the work of the mind. The ace brings clarity, the two shows how hard a choice can be, the three shows the pain of a truth. Then come rest after tension, a quarrel with a winner and a loser, difficult transitions, and nearer the end anxious thoughts that grow at night.
- Ace to three: clarity, choice, acknowledging pain
- Four to six: a pause, conflict, moving toward calmer waters
- Seven to nine: cunning, a sense of being trapped, night-time anxiety
- Ten: a limit after which all that is left is a new beginning
