Swords and the element of air

Swords are linked to air: what cannot be seen but cannot be done without. This suit is about thoughts, words, agreements, choices, and the ability to call things by their names. The sword is double-edged: it cuts through confusion, but it can also wound.

Because of this, swords often feel like the heaviest suit. Yet they hold no verdict: they are about clarity. Sometimes you need to admit an unwelcome truth in order to stop spending energy on anxious guessing.
